Clearwater Canyon Cellars 2017 Renaissance Red

This red wine blend from Lewiston, Idaho's Clearwater Canyon Cellars includes 27% Malbec, 27% Cabernet Franc, 26% Syrah, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. It offers complex aromas of blackberry jam, with notes of cedar, black pepper, vanilla, violet and Allspice. On the palate, it offers lively acidity in fruit that alludes to black cherry and plum skin with notes of dark chocolate and cola-clove spice. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
