Cooper Ridge Vineyard 2015 Viognier

This is a nicely balanced wine made in a dry style with 97% Viognier and small amounts of Riesling and Gruner Veltliner. On the nose, peach and honeydew melon mix with aromas of orange blossom, citrus zest and a hint of caramel. Flavors of pineapple and mango are upfront on the palate with lemon curd emerging on the mid-palate and notes of beeswax mixing with apricot, orange zest and hints of baking spice on a beautifully bright, lengthy finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
