Drumheller Cellars 2014 Chardonnay

This wine offers a wonderful complexity of aromas and flavors. There's a lot on the nose including fruit, floral and spice aromas, creamy notes and citrus. You'll find fruity aromas of spice-poached pear and honeydew melon mixed with orange blossom and notes reminiscent of almond paste, crème brulee and lemon curd. Bright flavors of lime zest present themselves upfront on the palate, then give way to fruit, toasted notes and spices that allude to apple pie, lingering before fading with hints of graphite minerality.
