Luminous Hills 2014 Estate Grown Pinot Noir

This Yamhill-Carlton district Pinot Noir offers flavors of bright red fruit, mixed with complex earthy notes and a beautiful balance of acidity. On the nose are aromas of dried cherries, cocoa, tobacco leaf, brown baking spice and rose petal. On the palate are flavors of red cherry, cola, a touch of blood orange and hints of dried sage on a dry, earthy finish. Its flavor profile promises a wide variety of food pairings, but duck or roasted pork loin seem like the perfect pairings.
