TruthTeller 2014 The Cynic Syrah

Dense and purple, this wine walks a beautiful balance between sweet and tart fruit while revealing other savory, sweet and earthy nuances. The nose is prominent with dark berry jam, but also reveals aromas of cigar box, espresso and black licorice. On the palate are flavors of blueberry and red plum balanced with just enough acidity for the fruit to remain bright, then revealing a touch of cocoa powder and notes of graphite on an elegant finish. This wine would be delicious with smoked or grilled meats, duck or lamb.
