Big, dark and complex, this wine shows sweet fruit, but balances it out with dark, earthy notes. On the nose, aromas of blackberry pie are predominant with notes of freshly ground coffee, smoke, clove spice and a touch of thyme. Flavors of dried blueberries and cocoa are upfront, followed by notes of sweet tobacco, tea and dark chocolate covered espresso bean. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
