This red wine blend includes 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 10% Syrah and smaller portions of Malbec and Petit Verdot, all from Destiny Ridge Vineyards in Washington's Horse Heaven Hills. On the nose, aromas of dark berry jam, cedar, black peppercorn and sweet tobacco. On the palate, flavors alluding to black cherry and plum are nicely balanced by notes of cocoa, dried herbs and a graphite minerality. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
