Dark fruit is nicely balanced with spicy and earthy notes in this Wahluke Slope Malbec. On the nose are sweet aromas of blackberry jam and raisin with notes of milk chocolate, sweet tobacco, sage and hints of clove and vanilla. The palate shows blueberry mixed with baking spices, cocoa and a finish showing tart plum skin and minerality reminiscent of clay pot. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
