Big and bold yet balanced, this wine packs a lot of black fruit, but frames it with savory and mineral notes for a dry finish. On the nose, it reveals a big dose of blackberry jam mixed with aromas of clove spice, a hint of vanilla and earthy violet petals. It presents flavors of black cherry, but balances the fruit beautifully with dried herbs, a touch of smoke and pencil lead.
