Ryan Patrick Wines 2017 Reserve Chardonnay

Mattawa, Washington's Ryan Patrick Wines used grapes from Sagemoor Vineyards and a restrained approach to oak to create this refreshing Chardonnay. On the nose are aromas of yellow apple, crème caramel and citrus zest. On the palate, fruity notes of apple, pear and melon rind are nicely balanced with a dash of baking spices and subtle notes of lemon zest and biscuit before giving way to a delightfully bright mineral finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
