Skylite Cellars 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Nicely structured from start to finish, this wine presents dark fruit wonderfully balanced with earthy and savory notes. The nose presents ripe plum with aromatic cedar, pipe tobacco, black peppercorn and a hint of oregano. The palate opens with black cherry, nicely balanced with earthy violet and spicy hints of bell pepper before an elegant dry finish revealing a streak of mineral. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
