Terra Vina Wines 2013 Tempranillo

On the nose, this wine is complex with rich, dark fruit mixing with earthy and floral aromas. Fruit aromas allude to dried blueberries, fig and raisin, with prominent notes of cedar, tobacco, chocolate, potpourri, baking spices and a hint of thyme. On the palate, it's beautifully structured and racy with notes of tart cherries that are balanced by notes of cocoa, dried leaves, gravel and peppery spice. It's bright acidic backbone and earthy flavors promise great pairings with beef or dishes with sausage or mushrooms. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
