Welcome Road Winery 2015 Roadtrip Red

This red wine blend from Seattle's Welcome Road Winery includes 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Syrah and 20% Malbec. It presents prominent aromas of blackberry pie with notes of sweet tobacco, black peppercorn and baking spices. On the palate, black fruit flavors are nicely balanced with cocoa, dried herbs, a graphite minerality and some peppery spice that lingers on the finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
