Bradley Vineyards 2014 Pinot Noir
Published: November 24, 2017
For fans of ripe and spicy Pinot Noirs, this wine from the Elkton AVA in Southern Oregon's Umpqua Valley hits the mark. It's on the high end of the alcohol scale for Pinots, carrying complex aromas on the nose and delivering prominent spicy notes on the palate. On the nose, dried cherry and red licorice meet the aroma of fragrant rose with notes of smoke, sweet tobacco, Allspice and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it leads with sweet cherry, reveals clove spice, cola and cocoa on the mid-palate, then fades to an elegant finish showing dried leaves, a gravel minerality and spiced orange peel. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
