Convergence Zone Cellars 2014 Storm Front
Published: November 24, 2018
This red blend of Bordeaux varietals includes 37% Merlot, 35% Malbec and 28% Cabernet Franc. It offers intriguing, intense and complex aromas alluding to fruitcake with notes of Allspice, chocolate, mint and dried herbs. On the palate, it presents dark fruit, notably blueberry, along with tart and peppery notes and plenty of earthy and savory character including violet, bay leaf and a graphite minerality showing on a balanced, dry finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
