Dowsett Family Winery 2018 Pinot Noir Becklin Vineyards

This Walla Walla winery has roots in Oregon's Willamette Valley and this Pinot shows that early experience on winemaker Chris Dowsett's resume. This wine delivers lovely flavors of spiced cherry compote upfront that linger through the midpalate before nicely textured tannins deliver notes of cocoa and dusty earth on the finish with a splash of blood orange. Aromas feature lovely florals, pitchy forest floor and dried herbs that wrap around notes of the rich red fruit.
