Elevation Cellars 2015 Black Peak Stonetree Tempranillo

Tempranillo from Stonetree Vineyards in Washington's Wahluke Slope were used for this wine from Woodinville's Elevation Cellars. On the nose are aromas of dried blueberries with additional notes of black peppercorn, cedar and cigar box. There's more blueberry on the palate, where it's balanced with notes of bitter dark chocolate and dried herbs before leading to an earthy and spicy finish revealing hints of textured cocoa powder and a dusting of baking spice.
