This Horse Heaven Hill Cabernet Sauvignon from Prosser Washington's Martinez & Martinez projects a bright beam of black cherry that meets firm tannins with notes of cocoa, vanilla and earthy hints of clay dust and graphite that mix seamlessly on a lengthy finish. Aromas also show complexity with rich blackberry jam nicely balanced by notes of cedar, baking spice, black peppercorn and dried herbs.
