SavorNW Announces Top Northwest Wines for 2024

Idaho's Holesinsky Winery, British Columbia's Chaberton Estate Winery, Oregon's King State Winery and Washington's Coyote Canyon Winery among the top award winners.
More than 450 Northwest wines claimed awards at the 2024 Savor Northwest Wine Awards competition conducted in early March in Cannon Beach, Oregon. While Washington and Oregon wines collected the majority of the awards, Idaho's Holesinsky Winery and British Columbia's Chaberton Estate Winery were the top award winners. Holesinsky claimed eight Gold Medals or better including Best of Class Awards for their 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Unicorn Sparkle sparkling rose of Syrah, and their IdaPeach Peach Sangria. Chaberton earned seven Gold Medals or better including Best of Class awards for their 2023 Sauvignon Blanc and 2022 Gewurztraminer.
Oregon's top award winner was King Estate Winery who collected six Gold Medals or better including the Best of Class for their 2022 Domaine Pinot Gris.
Prosser Washington's Coyote Canyon Winery earned five Gold Medals or better including the competition's Wine of the Year, their 2023 Marsanne; and Rose' Wine of the Year for their 2023 Life is a Rose'. Cannon Beach Oregon's Puffin Wines also collected five Gold Medals for wines from both Oregon and Washington. Palencia Wine Company from Kennewick Washington also claimed five Gold Medals including a Double Gold for their 2021 Casa Amarilla GSM.
Wineries who earned four Gold Medal awards include Kelso Washington's Capstone Cellars who earned Best of Class for their 2021 Merlot, and Oliver British Columbia's Covert Farms Family Estate.
