Westport Winery 2015 Lighthouse Riesling

Here's a food friendly Riesling calling for a spicy Asian dish, a soft cheese course or a buttery sauce. On the nose, lime, and green apple mixes with floral aromas of jasmine and just a touch of petroleum, beeswax and hints of fresh basil and ginger. Flavor of green apple and lime continue on the palate with a touch of nectarine thrown in on a long, zesty finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
