Alia Wines 2016 Malbec Arianses Vineyard
Published: September 11, 2020
This Malbec from Snohomish, Washington's Alia Wines was made with grapes sourced from the Wahluke Slope AVA. On the nose are aromas of blackberry jam and secondary notes of sweet tobacco, baking spices and a hint of sweet dried herbs. On the palate, it's luscious with flavors of black raspberry and blueberry balanced by notes of cocoa and cinnamon that emerge with a spicy earthiness on a lingering finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
