This Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir is elegantly transparent and offers aromas of dried herbs and sweet earth with a dash of baking spice wrapping around delicate notes of cherry with hints of tobacco leaf and gun smoke mixing seamlessly to present an inviting introduction. On the palate it delivers a silky mouthfeel, opening with flavors of cranberry and tart cherry, then a twist of orange peel on the mid-palate leading to an extended earthy finish hinting at tea with a gravelly minerality.
