Cathedral Ridge Winery 2018 Barbera Reserve

This is a firmly structured Barbera with prominent tannins and bright fruit alluding to tart blackberry and black cherry balanced by abundant notes of earth and tea that linger through a dry finish. On the nose, itâs intriguing with dark fruit aromas alluding to prune that beautifully mixes nicely with hints of black licorice and vanilla. Expect this one to reward cellar aging and be a nice food wine standing up to red sauces and hearty dishes.
