Chaberton Estate Winery 2021 Madeleine Sylvaner

This modern cross-bred grape varietal is disease and frost resistant; and a dependable ripening grape in cooler climates where it produces aromatic wines similar to Muscat. This one from western British Columbia's Fraser Valley is fruity and floral with aromas of fresh green grapes, orange blossom, Mandarin orange and a hint of fresh ginger. On the palate, it displays bold acidity that alludes to lime and green apple with a splash of tangerine that lingers through the mid-palate and an impressive long-lasting finish of tart tropical fruit.
