Chaberton Estate Winery 2024 Estate Grown Dry Bacchus
Published: September 11, 2025
Bacchus is an aromatic white wine hybrid grape related to Muller-Thurgau, Silvaner and Riesling, bred to be an early ripener and this one comes from western British Columbiaâs Fraser Valley. On the nose, it presents aromas of gooseberry, fresh green herbs, even hinting at gin tonic. On the palate, it delivers bright flavors of lime with a splash of white peach, a hint of melon rind and minerally notes alluding to quinine on the finish.
