Comforts of Whidbey 2016 Sparkling Siegerrebe

Nice bubbles carry aromas of pear and lemon into the nose, followed up on the palate with citrus, tart green apple, a hint of mandarin orange and a nice minerality. This fine example from a Langley, Washington winery should encourage more grape growers and winemakers in the Puget Sound AVA to experiment with Siegerrebe for both dry and bubbly whites.
