Whidbey Island, Washington's Comforts of Whidbey used Malbec from Wahluke Slope to create this juicy and boldly structured wine. It lands on the palate with rich notes of cherry that are quickly met by a rising acidity on the mid-palate alluding to blood orange that persists with great length through the finish. On the nose, it presents prominent notes of Allspice and sweet tobacco with hints of sagebrush that wrap around aromas of dried fruit
