Country Vines Winery 2024 Bacchus

Country Vines Winery 2024 Bacchus

Bacchus is a modern hybrid grape varietal that was made from a Silvaner-Riesling cross that was then crossed with Muller-Thurgau. The grape makes aromatic white wines capable of being grown in cooler climates like Fraser Valley in western British Columbia. This one is bright, minerally and refreshing. On the nose, it presents light aromas of green apple and pineapple with a prominent minerality. On the palate, it delivers a bright splash of lemon-lime and tangerine that holds through a lengthy mid-palate, then hints at nectarine on the finish.
