This Applegate Valley Merlot presents bold aromas of cedar, new leather and dried herbs with notes of baking spice, vanilla and hints of rich red fruit. On the palate, it delivers balanced flavors of plum that meet firm tannins carrying earthy notes of cocoa and clay dust with a lingering finish ending with hints of dark chocolate.
