Enrico Winery 2017 Confessor
Published: November 9, 2019
This white wine from British Columbia's Enrico Winery is made from Ortega grapes from Vancouver Island. The early ripening Ortega grape is suited to cooler climates and is a cross between Muller Thurgau and Siegerrebe. This one is beautifully aromatic with notes of floral orange blossom, canned peaches, mango and Mandarin orange. On the palate, it delivers a bright balance with flavors alluding to apricot, Meyer lemon and creamsicle with an underlying minerality showing on the finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
