Eternal Wines 2017 Eternal Darkness Syrah

Only two barrels of this Walla Walla Syrah were produced and this bottling is loaded with savory and earthy notes. It presents rich aromas that combine jammy black fruit, green peppercorn, clove, fresh sage and a hint of smoky bacon fat. On the palate, it delivers slightly tart flavors of Boysenberry that are nicely balanced by a core textured earthiness alluding to cocoa powder and a graphite minerality, finishing with just a touch of peppery spice.
