Finial Cellars 2021 Barn Yard Red

This red wine blend includes 95% Rondo and 5% Syrah. Rondo is a dark-skinned modern hybrid red wine grape designed for early ripening and this one is from the Puget Sound AVA. On the nose this wine hints at both red and black fruit, most notably red plum with notes of cedar and violet. On the palate, it delivers a dry rounded mouthfeel with flavors of cherry balanced by earthy notes of bittersweet chocolate and espresso that carry through the finish.
