On the nose, dark, jammy fruit mixes with complex aromas including cedar, sweet tobacco, baking spices and black pepper. Big rounded flavors of black cherry and spiced red plum are up front before revealing notes of cocoa, bell pepper, violet, dried herbs and some clay pot minerality with spicy notes lingering through the finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
