At only $15, this red wine blend is a solid candidate for an everyday wine without sacrificing balanced flavors and a polished structure. It consists of 52% Syrah, 36% Merlot, 11% Cab and 1% Viognier from Washington's Horse Heaven Hills and presents a nicely rounded mouthfeel with flavors of a spiced berry sauce that gives way to notes of cocoa mixed with tart red fruit and a nice finish hinting at a graphite minerality. On the nose, prominent floral aromas mix with notes of dried fruit, black peppercorn, baking spice and sweet tobacco for an inviting introduction.
