On the nose are aromas of dried blueberry, fig, cedar and sweet tobacco with hints of bay leaf, vanilla and mint. Flavors open with sour cherry and black pepper balanced with earthy notes of wet gravel and dried leaves emerging on the mid-palate, then tart red huckleberry and a hint of dark chocolate on a peppery, structured finished. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
