Knudsen Vineyards 2019 Family Series Chardonnay

This Chardonnay spent 15 months on 25% new French oak which integrates beautifully adding complexity to the zesty flavors that still shine through. On the nose, aromas of applesauce are joined by notes of lemon balm, hints of beeswax and cream. On the palate, itâs bright upfront with flavor alluding to Meyer lemon that is joined by notes of lime pith and melon rind on the mid-palate before finishing with prominent notes of minerality and a refreshing splash of saline.
