Lady Hill Winery 2018 Ad Lucem Day Star Syrah

This complex, layered Syrah shows abundant bright fruit with plenty of dark savory notes and nice touches of florals and spice. It presents enticing aromas of dark fruit and floral-herbal notes alluding to lavender, green peppercorn and sweet tobacco with hints of vanilla and baking spice. On the palate, juicy acidity is reminiscent of black cherry and blueberry layered with notes of toasted oak, cocoa, black olive on the midpalate and a nice streak of graphite mixing with lingering acidity on the finish.
