Lane Cellars 2020 Fifty-Fifty

This red wine blend includes 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Petit Verdot. On the nose, it presents dark fruit enveloped in prominent aromas of green peppercorn, cedar and pipe tobacco with a dash of baking spice. On the palate, it delivers bright and juicy flavors of black cherry and red plum balanced by lightly-textured earthy notes alluding to a dusting of espresso that trail off to a finish hinting at graphite.
