Larch Hills Winery 2016 Northern Lights
Published: August 13, 2019
This is white wine blend from British Columbia's Okanagan Valley that includes Siegerrebe, Madeleine Angevine and Ortega, three aromatic, early-ripening grapes suited to cooler climates, along with a small amount of Pinot Gris. It displays nice aromatics straddling floral and fruity notes alluding to nectarine and tangerine with a hint of sweet herbs. On the palate, it delivers flavors of Meyer lemon, pineapple and orange zest with a touch of saline. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
