Latah Creek Wine Cellars NV Huckleberry d'Latah

This wine predominately utilizes Riesling grapes, but also includes Muscat Canelli and natural juice and concentrate of huckleberries. It presents a nose of canned peaches and juicy pear with floral and classic Riesling notes of petrol. It's bright on the palate with flavors of crisp green apple, Meyer lemon, apricot, pineapple, a touch of spice and a whisper of huckleberry at the end of a trailing finish. This is a fun wine, delightful for sipping, but its solid acid structure and slightly sweet profile would complement dishes with some spice.
