This wine shows ripe dark fruit, a solid acidic structure and earthy elements that rein it in with beautiful balance and finesse. On the nose are enticing aromas of blackberry jam, cedar, cigar box, baking spice and clay dust. Flavors of juicy plum and tart black cherry are wonderfully balanced with notes of dark chocolate, dried herbs and graphite on an elegant dry finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
