This Horse Heaven Hills Merlot presents concentrated aromas of black plum with notes of baking spice, chocolate, sweet tobacco and a hint of bell pepper. On the palate, it delivers flavors of cherry and red plum that are balanced on the mid-palate by lightly textured notes of cocoa powder before an earthy finish hinting at clay pot.
