This red wine blend from Mercer Estates in Prosser, Washington includes 42% Syrah, 37% Merlot, 11% Malbec and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Horse Heaven Hills. It offers aromas of ripe black plum with notes of cigar box, fruitcake and black peppercorn. On the palate, it presents flavors of blueberries with baking spices, a plum skin acidity and a dry finish revealing notes alluding to dried herbs and graphite. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
