Earth meets fruit beautifully in this Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose are complex aromas of ripe black plums with notes of black peppercorn, pipe tobacco, leather, dried mint and an earthiness alluding to wet gravel. Elegantly structured throughout on the palate, it shows restrained flavors of black cherry mixed with violet, a touch of green bell pepper and a dry, spicy finish showing a graphite minerality. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
