Palencia Wine Company 2020 El Vinador Red Mountain Carmenere

This Red Mountain Carmenere offers nicely structured dark fruit balanced by herbal character, spice and earth. It opens with juicy flavors of dark berries with a kiss of green bell pepper, then lightly textured notes of cocoa and earth emerge on the mid-palate, finishing with a hint of graphite. On the nose, jammy black fruit aromas mix nicely with herbal-spice notes of green peppercorn, hints of bell pepper and spearmint.
