Pomeroy Cellars 2022 Michelle's Meritage

This Yakima Valley red blend is a Bordeaux style mix of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, it presents aromas of cedar, green peppercorn, pipe tobacco and baking spice that wraps around black fruit. On the palate, it delivers a juicy mouthfeel with flavors of black cherry and dark berries with a vibrant acidity that reaches a nice peak at the end of the mid-palate where emerging notes of dark chocolate grow through the earthy finish with a dash of peppery spice.
