Bacchus is a modern, cross-bred, early ripening grape varietal combining Müller Thurgau, Silvaner and Riesling. This one offers a nose of green apple, pear and nectarine aromas mixing with notes of orange blossom and hints of fresh basil and ginger. On the palate, flavors of apricot and citrus zest find a nice balance with secondary notes alluding to lemon-ginger hard candies. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
