Recline Ridge Vineyards & Winery 2017 Siegerrebe
Published: May 9, 2019
Several Northwest wineries are crafting some beautiful examples of the early ripening Siegerrebe varietal, a cross between Madeleine Angevine and Gewurtztraminer. This aromatic white wine from British Columbia's Recline Ridge Winery leads with expressive floral notes of orange blossom and aromas of guava and tangerine with hints of exotic spices. On the palate, fruity flavors alluding to apricot, mango and nectarine find a nice balance with subtle hints of candied ginger and sea spray. Pair this with spicy Asian dishes. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
