Reustle Prayer Rock Vineyards 2024 Gruner Veltliner Cask #2

This Umpqua Valley Gruner Veltliner was fermented and aged in a cask, sourced from the Schneckenleitner cooperage in Austria made from oak from the Mannhartsburg forest in the foothills of the Alps. On the nose, the wine presents complex aromas of yellow apple with notes of white pepper and fresh green herbs with just a whiff of sweet florals and lemon zest. On the palate, it bursts with bright tropical fruit flavors but shows depth with notes of firm white peach and a splash of lemon-lime followed by a gravelly minerality emerging on the mid-palate that mixes with hints of citrus oil on the elegant finish.
