This wine opens with aromas of blackberry jam mixed with savory notes of black peppercorn, cured meat, sweet tobacco and a dusting of Allspice. On the palate, it alludes to black cherry and olive with peppery spice notes upfront and secondary notes of dried herbs, cocoa and graphite with spice lingering through the finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
